, and this continued all throughout High School.

Once out of high school, Lance enrolled in Las Positas college and received his business degree, and then continued his training at Diablo Valley College, where he received his training for his culinary arts.

While in school, Lance had his first real kitchen job as a line cook at Beebs Sports Bar in Livermore. While there for 10 years Lance move his way up from dishwasher, to line cook, sous chef, bqt chef, and front of the house manager. A lesson was taught to me early on in my career which was that the more you know in this business, the better off you will be down the road.

That saying would turn out to be more than a saying, because for the next few years Lance would join some great teams throughout California. Beets catering Palm Event center, Diablo Grande Country Club, Le bistro, Guy Fieri Signature Restaurant, Chartwells, Howard Training Center, and the Double Tree by Hilton.

These days you can find Lance working diligently alongside Chef Richard creating something fierce to come out of FENIX.
